1 Download your data
  1. Open Meta Accounts Center (opens in a new tab) and sign in to Instagram if prompted.
  2. Go to Your information and permissions, then Export your information.
  3. Select Create export, choose your Instagram profile, then select Export to device.
  4. Under Customize information, select only Followers and following, typically under Connections.
  5. Set Date range to All time and Format to JSON. Select Start export.
  6. When Instagram says the export is ready, return to Export your information and download the ZIP.
  7. Drop the ZIP below.

Select every followers file if your export includes several.

How your data is handled

Your ZIP or JSON files are read in this browser inside an isolated panel. The comparison tool makes no network requests and keeps its results in memory until you reload or close the page. Opening a profile link takes you to Instagram.
